Don't mess with TeXas - Sure, you all know this bumper sticker, which can normally be found on huge pick up - trucks, driven by guys with impressive hats. But, not every clichee is true and - beware - here come The Singers ATX (yes, rigth Austin, TeXas). One of the best musical exports from abroad!

If you've already seen these six guys on one of their three extensive European tours, you'll go d'accord, that The Stingers cach every audience with their sweet mixture of Rocksteady, traditional Ska, Doo-Wop and the little prise of Soul. This includes Mr. Charming on the mikrophone and a crowd-surfing trombone player and the result is a very loyal fan base and excited audiences! Just listen to their previous releases on Grover Records, 'This Good Thing' or their EP 'Three Points' and you'll get an impression.

After their second European tour, wich gave The Stingers the possibility to performe as backing band for Jamaican legend Laurel Aitken, the Stingers wasted not time and started writing new songs.

The outcome is the full-length 'All In A Day', again produced by Victor Rice, which features 14 supreme compositions. It also features the ease and smooth arrangements from the previous records, scrambled with great lyrics containing a good protion of humor and irony.

'All In A Day' has skyrocketed The Stingers into the Champions League, that's for sure. Proof will be given on their upcoming European tour in june and july 2005. And this tour will have some very special dates: The Stingers will enter the stage with Doreen Shaffer, legendary voice of The Skatalites. We are really looking forward to this!
