Mr. Review seperated after 15 years of succes in the European Ska scene. The 10 musicians from the Netherlands made many fans in whole Europe. Between the years 1993 and 1998 they released two studio albums and the legendary live CD 'Keep the Fire Burning' (GRO CD / LP 700), a best of compilation and some 7"s. Their first album 'Walking down Brentford Road' (GRO CD 001) was out of sale for a long time and has been re-released as a Grover CD and LP.
Frontman and singer Dr. Rude and the musical head - Arne Visser (guitar)- started a new project in 2001 and wrote some new songs. The new band Rude & Visser'. They took part in the 'Skanking 'round the X-Mas Tree' tour 2001 and presented old Mr. Review songs next to the new tracks.
Rude uptempo Pop-Ska has always been the style of Mr. Review - nothing changed until today and Rude & Visser keep on following that tradition.
