The 27 Red - Germany

In the summer of 1996, on the schoolyard of a high school in Muenster county, (Lüdinghausen/Germany) three of the now eight band members decided not to just listen to their favorite music (British influenced Ska) anymore, but to became active their selves. A band was born and after a short while, they took their first steps in a nearby practice room. A very first "living room concert" at a private party in June 1997 forced the ambitions and lots of gigs followed as well as a quite huge numbers of open-air-concerts and important supports for Dr. Ring-Ding & the Senior Allstars, The Hotknives and not too long ago the US-Stars The Toasters.

For the past two years, The27Red has been playing in the actual cast and their mixture of melodic pop and Ska-rhythm was more than tried and tasted. This is not only proved by the very good response of the audience. Their talent deserves nation wide observance. They left impressive footprints with their 4-Track-EP called 'License to dance' and will now start the fire with their debut album 'Make Your Game'.
