Court Jester’s Crew - Germany

"I've fallen in love with Court Jester's Crew when I've first heard their album. They are smashing and give you good energy!! I want to see them live!!!"

Hervé Molia, Black Super Market - Radio Show (France)

Ska, Dancehall, Reggae and Jazz: a cocktail CJC didn't invent but present it in a so far unknown way and perfection. The guys put great passion into their music. The songs have the certain groove, make people dance everywhere, but can be used to have a relaxed siesta as well. There is no other band of this genre in Germany presenting its repertoire so very easy, with fun, charisma and on such a high level of perfection. That is not only valid for the studio albums: the songs from the new longplayer "Babylon Raus" and the prereleased single "We let the good times roll" are also the audience' favourites on live concerts!

CJC have come to a good reputation in the Ska scene. The nine musicians from Tübingen are quite young but since 5 years they perform together without changing members. That made the band grow together and lead to their harmonic and characteristic sound. Touring Germany, Italy, England, France, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands dind't tire them but was a motivation for the band and strengthened their creativity .

Their musical qualities in addition to passion in music made it possible to tour as backing band of the "Godfather of Ska" Laurel Aitken since summer 2000 and even to record an album with him. They won the "Musikernachwuchspreis"("award for upcoming bands") of Stuttgart and were chosen for the "Bandpool" of Baden-Württemberg.

CJC found what bands are looking for: an unmistakable style. And they know how to share it with the audience: in clubs, on the large summer jam stage (2001 and 2002) or during sessions with their audience...

You are still hungry for more? Look out for another project featuring members of CJC. "For compensation" - like singer S.P.R.U.D. said - the band travels the clubs, using the pseudonym "Good Old Boys", as a Reggae and Dancehall backing and session band with DJS and MCs.
