Grover
ska, reggae & more

No club will book a band without a current sound carrier, even if their agent is completely convinced of the quality of the musicians, so Moskito Promotion decided to create their own label, which led to the first release of Grover Records in 1993. Almost unintended, a door to a surprisingly big market had been opened. Ever since, Grover Records dedicate themselves to new releases and re-releases of legendary rarities in the Ska and Reggae section. Artist and buyer alike profit from Moskito's/Grover's expertise and love for the product. Label, publishing, agency, and mail-order under one roof offer both musicians and consumers a complete service. The sweeping presence of the big distribution partners carries the Grover products further to the turntables outside of the scene's boundaries. The label's output has already reached the other side of the world. Two sublabels Elmo and V.O.R. resulted from the last years' concept. In 2003 Grover Records celebrates its 10th birthday. Four or five compilations with extraordinary and interesting tracks will be released. Several festivals will take place in Germany and whole Europe and all friends and fans are invited to join the birthday party!
